Many of our colleagues won’t step inside a church building. It is an alien environment about which they probably have all kinds of preconceptions. Common ideas about church include: ‘I'll have to sing’, ‘I’ll feel awkward’, ‘I’ll be judged’, ‘I’ll be pounced on’, etc.

But many of our colleagues might love to sit down 1-2-1 with us, and see for themselves what is said in one of the source documents of Christianity – John's Gospel. Truth at Work provides resources that help us help them to do just that.

In the blog posts below you’ll find out more about Truth at Work, and there are lots of tips and resources to help you share the Gospel through a Gospel. (If you are coming to this fresh you may wish to start by looking at the earliest posts first.)

Some Thoughts and Tips on looking at a Gospel 121 with someone

Posted by City Team on November 1, 2011

A few thoughts below.  Please email in your own suggestions/thoughts to wes@christiansinthecity.com

What are we trying to achieve?

To help people hear about Jesus Christ.  What a relief!  We're not trying to persuade someone to be like us or to have our opinions.
