Resources for looking into the claims of Jesus Christ

If you are just looking into the claims of Jesus Christ yourself, here are some ways in which you can find out more:

Lunchtime Talks

You'd be very welcome to come along to one of our lunchtime talks. At every Tuesday and Thursday lunchtime talk at St Helen's there will be many people looking in on the message of Jesus Christ. All of these talks are designed for anyone, from the interested visitor to the committed follower. Find out more here.

Evening Events

As well as the lunchtime talks, we often organise specific events, examining the claims of Jesus Christ, with plenty of opportunity for discussion and questions. Go here for our after-dinner talks, What do Christians Believe?

City Christianity Explored

You may have no previous experience of Christianity. You may hardly ever have set foot inside a church. Or you might just like to brush up on the basics. Whatever your situation, the Christianity Explored course is an opportunity to engage personally with the claims of Jesus Christ, the person at the very heart of Christianity. Find out more here.

Read an eyewitness account of Jesus' life 1-2-1

'Faith comes through hearing, and hearing through the words of Christ.' One of the best ways of finding out more about Jesus is to read one of the four gospels – Matthew, Mark, Luke or John. Many City workers have done so, discussing as they read with another City worker or a member of the St Helen's City team.

Contact Alan Bright ([email protected]) if you would like to be put in touch with someone to help you read through a gospel.
