Saving the World

Are we part of the solution ... or part of the problem?

Current lunchtime series

John 3:16 is the most famous and best loved verse in the Bible, mainly because no one has the first idea what it actually says. Jesus talks as if everyone is in trouble without him, and as if absolutely anyone can be accepted by him.

We are happy that the world needs saving – as long as we are part of the solution, not part of the problem.

Come for this series that unpacks the third and fourth chapters of John's gospel. We shall find out what the world's problems really are – and how they are solved.

31 January & 2 February: What if even the most moral person needed Jesus? (John 3:1–15)

7 & 9 February: What if saving the world is about saving everyone? (John 3:16–36)

14 & 16 February: What if no one were too bad for Jesus? (John 4:1–30)

21 & 23 February: What if we gave our life to saving the world? (John 4:31–42)
